Salzburg is a very nice city located in the Tyrolian Alps, in Austria. It is internationally renowned for its baroque architecture and was the birthplace of 18th-century composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
Andreu delivered his “Type & Soul” talk where he reflects on some aspects of his type work, emphasizing the importance of giving meaning to the design of a new typeface.

The type workshop was developed during one week as part of the University Graphic Design programme. It was a very intensive full-time week where the students started developing their own typeface. After some days of introductory information on type design and some scratch on paper developments, students were introduced to Glyph app by professor Rainer Eric Scheichelbauer. By the end of the week, every student had his/her own type design finished.
