About this typeface
In the public imagination, the character of Carmen embodies the exotic and captivating beauty of the gypsy woman, with olive skin and voluptuous sensuality. The Carmen typeface personifies that beauty, translating it into letterforms: a high-contrast Neoclassical typeface with sweet, rounded terminals and light strokes as fine as golden threads. Its italics, slightly inclined and gently rounded, are soft and almost fragile, approaching the text like a dance performance.
Carmen Fine was developed as a non-exclusive custom display style for Victoria’s Secret. It is a member of the Carmen family, specifically designed for titles.
